That's my daughter in the water...

We always knew Alma was a watery girl, but lately she has proven to be a fearless explorer when it comes to any body of water. Here she is wading in a stream (Sohrob had to stop her from diving in):

This was a chilly day on San Pedro Bay. The breeze and seaweed did not deter our little Noor from crawling right in.

Skipping stones.

A very appealing (but also chilly) waterfront in Vermont:

Alma was in bliss.

One thing she really did not like was wearing a life jacket in the canoe. I think she prefers to just be one with the elements.

Ironically, she has stopped enjoying her bath. I wonder if the little blue tub is feeling constricting after experiencing the vastness of the natural world.

Plum Season Returns

We're just back from 2 weeks on the East Coast and I have lots of photos to post but I need to get organized first (which may never happen at this rate). This post is just to say: I can not believe it has been almost a year since Alma was born. It has been both the fastest and slowest year of my life; a total transformation in our way of being. We have so much to reflect on and be grateful for.

Here is Alma after trying her first plums of the season from our back yard. They aren't fully ripe and sweet yet, but she humored us. She is the sweetest plum of them all.
